Litter August 6, 1998
Quite a few people missed week 5; that's correct: we were very busy with the pups, visitors and had two camera's that still had unused pictures in them, so we didn't make it to publish this page. Sorry folks, but to make up we present you with a double dosis of puppy-fun.

Although the puppies eat solid food for a while it's still nice to drink some of your mothers milk. Their sharp teeth make Spottie to allow it only once in a while.
In the background you'll see the opened gate of the puppies's home. To protect the floor we placed a plastic coversheet underneath.
They finally mastered walking. The crowd runs through the room happily and quickly finds something interesting to play with.
With a little clapping and calling "Puppies!!" the whole bunch runs to you, because most often it's time to...

The space in the whelping crate is not enough anymore. The pups also know how to climb over the sides (that's the reason for the coversheet at the topmost pictur). The whelping crate is only used for sleeping and eating.
