The mating

On February 15, 2009 has our Cupid (pictures) been mated for her final litter to our own Ready (pictures). This mating has been repeated the next few days.

Counting from the first mating, the expected day of birth of this very promising litter will be around April 18, 2009

Ultrasound

On March 18, 2009 (day 31 counting from the first mating) we went to the vet for an ultrasound. We were pretty convinced the mating did not succeeded or only a small litter while we could not see any signs at all from a pregnancy. We were very happy when as soon as the machine touched her belly, we could see quite an amount of little puppies. So only another 4,5 weeks of waiting before we can meet the final puppies of our special lady. Unfortunately the printer of our vet has been broken, so no pic of the ultrasound, but trust me, they are sure in there.
