Week 1

Because it's only five of them this time, the puppies must feel like they're living in the land of plenty. Plus the fact that Spottie is always behaving as a super-mum makes that the puppies shoot up very fast. Within one week, the puppies more than doubled their birth weight!

Daily life

During the first week of their lives, the little ones mainly fulfill their obligation of sleeping, eating, more sleeping and mainly growing a lot. It's still amazing to see how those little guinea pigs or little rats slowly transform into real doggies. Of course all future owners have visited them to take a peek at their newborn agility, flyball or obedience champion. For them time is passing by way too slow, for us it's running much too fast.
