Litter March 18, 2004
Week 4
The pups enjoy the fresh meat meals they get several times a day very much, but nothing can beat their mother's milk that Spottie still has in abundance for her little ones.

Daily life
Also for these pups, the puppy pen has become too small. The first time in the living room was a little scary and especially very slippery, but in no time they figured out how exciting the big world is. So many things they can finally touch (mainly with their teeth of course), which they could just see at a distance before that.
The highlight this week was the first encounter with the other litter, especially since those pups are 2 weeks older. But in terms of braveness and size of their mouths, there is not much difference. The smaller ones don't let themselves cut down to size by the older pups. If the playing is a little too rough, the tiny mouths produce a lot of growling and barking resulting in the others slinking off immediately.
